Youth Red Cross (YRC) is the biggest, independent, non-religious, non-political, non-sectarian and voluntary relief organization treating people equally all over the world without any discrimination to their nationality, race and religion beliefs.

PRINCIPLES OF YRC

The major activities include blood donation camp, HIV/AIDS programmes, child and family welfare, road safety awareness, first aid awareness and community health

    To enhance the capacity of Indian Red Cross Society to deliver its humanitarian message both within & outside the society and advocate tolerance & coexistence in the communities.

    To increase the capacity in disaster preparedness & disaster response in disaster prone branches & national headquarters and reduce the vulnerability of communities in key disaster prone areas

    To increase the capacity in health & care in branches & national headquarters and improve the health of vulnerable people and communities

    To raise the capacity of the branches & national headquarters in mobilizing, organizing & managing local resources in order to improve the situation of the vulnerable under each strategic objective, one or several actions, which need to be taken to achieve it, are identified & explained
