Graduation Day was celebrated for the first time.

The UGC recognized the college under sections 2(f) and 12B.
Former President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, visited the campus.

The college has achieved accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
The main building of the boys' hostel has been constructed.
The Student Council was established to represent and advocate for student interests.

Adopted Pichanur Village to participate in community service.

The college has been designated as the Nodal Centre for the NCVRT.
The villages of Pudupathy, Chinnampathy, Mavuthampathy, and Muruganpathy have been selected for community development initiatives.
AJKCAS was recognized by UBA and received the All India 115th rank amongst the Higher Educational Institutions in India with its effective participation in the country's rural development process through "Unnat Bharat Abhiyan".
Received the Clean Campus Award from the Swachh Bharat Mission.

AJK College of Nursing was established.
AJKCAS has been accredited by IFCA and WACS.
Joined as a member of National Rural Entrepreneurship Mission (NREMP).

The college has been reaccredited by NAAC with an A+ grade.
Received the 'Best Institute of the Year 2022' award Received the 'Bharat Excellence' Award.
Received Rs. 1 lakh from UBA for the construction of a community soak pit Puthupathi Tribal Village.
Set up AJK Turf Ten5, a play field.
Established the Student Quality Circle.
The Honorable Minister for Health and Family Welfare of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Ma. Subramanian, inaugurated the building of AJK College of Nursing.

Ranked first in placements among Bharathiar University-affiliated colleges and fourth among 766 arts and science colleges in Tamil Nadu under the Naan Mudhalvan Scheme.
Became a permanent member of QCFI.
Published a book titled in Cyber Security Technology.
Established India's first AR and VR Experience Centre.
Received Rs.4.5 lakhs from Marti Foundation in Madurai for CSR activities in the adopted villages.
