AJK Innovation Incubator Foundation

The AJK Innovation Incubator Foundation (AIIF) is established under the AJK Educational Trust to create a thriving innovation ecosystem within the academic environment. Our mission is to enable early-stage ventures, support student-led startups, and provide structured pathways for idea-stage entrepreneurs through access to infrastructure, mentorship, and funding.We serve as a launchpad for aspiring founders, helping them explore product development, market validation, and investor readiness—all within a supportive campus-based environment.

Do I need to have a team to apply for incubation at AIIF?

No, solo founders can also apply. However, we encourage team-building as multidisciplinary collaboration often leads to stronger startups. If needed, AIIF can help connect you with potential co-founders or technical partners from within the AJKCAS ecosystem.

Will AIIF take any equity in the startups it supports?

Currently, AIIF does not take equity from student or faculty startups during incubation. Our primary goal is to promote innovation and entrepreneurship, not commercial ownership. However, equity terms may apply for external startups availing advanced support or funding.

Can I incubate a startup based on my academic project or research?

Absolutely. AIIF actively encourages converting academic projects, dissertations, or faculty research into commercial ventures. We provide mentoring on IP, technology transfer, and business model development to take these ideas to market.

What kind of mentorship does AIIF offer?
