UBA Cell
Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Cell of AJKCAS, recognized by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India was established in the year 2018. The main aim of this UBA Cell is to motivate the students participating in the betterment of village community, build a lasting system and improve the overall sanitation & hygiene in the villages.
Through UBA Cell, the institute has adopted five nearby villages – Puthupathi, Chinnampathi, Muruganpathi, Mavuthampathi and Pichanur. It has taken initiatives in developing the villages by giving basic amenities, artisans industries & livelihood, water management, renewable energy and organic farming.

- 1To create a vibrant relationship between the society and the higher educational institutes, with the latter providing the knowledge and technology support to improve the livelihoods in rural areas and upgrade the capabilities of both the public and private organization in the society.
- 2To carry out studies of living conditions in the adopted villages, assess the local problems and needs, improve the processes in the implementation of various government schemes and prepare workable action plans for the selected villages through the faculty and students of the institute to develop their health, skills, education and holistic perception & life.
- 3To re-orient and connect the students and faculty to the rural realities and thus, their learning and research work become more relevant to the society.
