In a commendable joint effort, AJK College of Arts and Science Coimbatore, an esteemed A+ accredited institution by NAAC, partnered with the Marti Foundation of Madurai to bring sustainable illumination to Puthupathi Tribal Village. On March 7th, 2024, more than fifteen solar street lights were installed as part of the transformative Light a Village Project. The inauguration event, graced by distinguished figures including Prof Dr. Ajeet Kumar Lal Mohan, Secretary of AJK College of Arts and Science and Vice Chancellor Convenor Committee Member at Bharathiar University Coimbatore, and Mrs Uma, Managing Director of Marti Foundation, underscored the commitment to rural development and environmental stewardship.
