AJK College of Arts and Science  Coimbatore (Autonomous), accredited A+ by NAAC, presented a pioneering Knowledge-Sharing Session & Intellectual Property Rights Seminar on Cyber Security: Identity and Access Management, in collaboration with the Department of Digital and Cyber Forensic Science, PG Department of Cyber Security, and the Cyber Forensic Club in Association with General Mills India Pvt., Ltd. The seminar, held on February 15, 2024, provided an insightful exploration into the intricacies of Identity and Access Management within corporate environments.

Our seminar aimed to provide comprehensive knowledge about Identity and Access Management in the corporate realm. We sought to bridge the gap between industrial requirements and students’ skill sets, fostering collaboration with leading companies like General Mills India Pvt. Ltd. Our goal was to enhance student’s career growth by exposing them to industrial environments and raising awareness about Identity and Access Management systems

Mr. Nikhil Kulkarni, Consultant at General Mills India Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, initiated the session by providing an overview of identity management practices at General Mills. Attendees acquired insights into Active Directory maintenance, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, and Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation. Moreover, they gained familiarity with On-Premise and Cloud-based Identity Providers, alongside an understanding of various Active Directory services. Additionally, Ms. Jennifer Nadar, Consultant at General Mills India Pvt. Ltd., delved into Access Certification/Reviews at the organizational level, facilitating interactive learning and addressing queries during the Q&A session.
