AJK College of Arts and Science’s  Costume Design and Fashion(CDF) Department recently hosted an enlightening guest lecture on “Boutique Management” featuring Mrs. S. Mohanapriya, the founder of VIMORA BOUTIQUE in Coimbatore. Boutique Management involves the retailing of high-end fashionable clothing and accessories, and this lecture delved into the fundamentals of fashion design and small business management.

The interactive session provided a valuable opportunity for AJK’s students to engage with the industry expert, resulting in a wealth of knowledge acquisition. Topics covered included initiating both online and offline business ventures, insights into designing and production units within a boutique, effective customer communication, handling diverse customer scenarios, and pricing strategies for designs and garment production.
