On September 27, 2024, the Department of Catering Science and Hotel Management at AJK College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore (Autonomous), an A+ accredited institution by NAAC,, proudly celebrated World Tourism Day 2024 through the AJK Tourism Club. This year celebrates World Tourism Day 2024 with the theme, Tourism and Peace, resonated deeply as students and faculty united to highlight the vital role tourism plays in fostering global understanding and harmony.
The celebration commenced with a vibrant rally, which was flagged off by Mr. Haridasan, Additional Superintendent of Police, Palakkad Kerala. Alongside him, Prof. Dr. Ajeet Kumar Lal Mohan, Vice Chancellor Convenor Committee Member of Bharathiar University, and Secretary of AJK Group of Institutions, expressed their support for the event, underscoring the college’s commitment to promoting tourism education and awareness.
