On August 13, 2024, AJK College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, Coimbatore (Autonomous), an A+ accredited institution by NAAC, organized an insightful industrial visit for the Department of Computer Science and Department of Computer Applications for first-year students of the BCA AI and B.Sc. Computer Science programs. This visit to Asscent Techo Soft, Coimbatore, offered students an opportunity to explore the latest advancements in the IT industry. The session, titled “Advanced Technological Insights,” was led by Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim, a Mobile App Developer, and Mr. Meinathan, a Python Developer.
The visit aimed to familiarize students with the latest IT industry trends. By stepping out of the classroom, students gained practical skills essential for today’s job market, including coding, debugging, and using advanced web development tools. The experience bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications, helping students understand how their skills can solve real problems. They also acquired knowledge about mobile applications and programming languages crucial in the current tech landscape.
The outcomes were significant, as students gained hands-on experience with web development in real-world scenarios like e-commerce and social media platforms.
